Hello my friends, my name is Lance, and I'm excited to share my dream with you! Here is a little background on who I am and why Coffee is my passion!
I am a father to 4 kids, with a fun and gregarious daughter at home who keeps him laughing and going. I have always been an entrepreneur at heart, love to create and build. I am here combining this love to create with my love for coffee and specialty coffee drinks, especially coffee cocktails.
I think coffee is much more than just a beverage. I mean after all, coffee is the 2nd most consumed beverage in the world after water according to numerous studies, with some estimates saying over 2,000,000,000 cups of coffee are consumed everyday.
For me coffee is the way I start the day. I love the early morning when it is quiet, sitting down with a good cup of coffee, and thinking about and planning my day. For me it is much more than a drink, it is a part of my routine. (I will say my favorite is a snowy morning, sitting in the hot tub while the snow falls enjoying a coffee). However, coffee is not just a way to start the morning, it is also a beverage we can have anytime of day. I love white chocolate mocha in the afternoon. It is one of my favorite treats. I have always wanted to have a coffee shop, a place for everyone to sit, relax, and enjoy their coffee routine.
One of my ways to really enjoy coffee is as a cocktail. While on a trip one time I had the epiphany of, why not create a coffee company that has a fantastic coffee, but also infuses that with some wonderful recipes for coffee cocktails.
And poof, there was the idea that started The Dirty Barista, the vision to have a fresh roasted, world class coffee available, with a list of recipes that provide the very best coffee cocktails, and eventually to have a store offering these coffee cocktails (coming soon).
Sometimes the universe plays a role in getting you to where you need to be. Meeting my current business partners has taken what was once a dream of mine and turned it into a reality. I cannot be more grateful for these people.
